External Slave Cylinder Kits
Driveline Components designed and manufactures the only slave cylinder to incorporate a locking device and a special setting tool; the locking device and setting tool sets this slave cylinder apart from all others. The locking device prevents rotation in the mounting bracket, assuring you it will remain in the position it was mounted. A special tool, designed by Red Roberts, makes sure you don’t over adjust the slave and run out of self-adjusting room in the slave cylinder.
These cylinders are made of high-quality, American-bought aluminum, machined from billet stock and hand-assembled to guarantee high quality for the end user. Available for most applications, these slave cylinders come with a larger round bull nose end to fit most forks, but they are also available with a spade end for early G.M. vehicles. A special, small, round bull nose end is found on our 1982–96 Camaro slave kit.
All kits come with a fitting mounted for A.N. 4 lines and a bleeder kit. G.M. kits are available for 9:00 o’clock fork holes and 7:00 o’clock fork holes. There are kits for Buick, Olds, and Pontiac blocks. Fox-body Mustang kits after 1993 will have spacers, bolts, and washers for the mounting brackets included. Earlier Ford applications fit the various diameter flywheels in both the big block and the small block. Replacement forks are available for most G.M. and Ford big block and small block vehicles.
